Jewellery Sizing Guides...

It is important with rings and watchstraps to get the correct size. Obviously this is simple for those people visiting our retail outlets but not so easy for purchasers on our website. To help those of you on-line we have produced comprehensive guides to both ring size and watch strap fitting. In both cases we have a downloadable gauge that will help you to measure your ring or watchstrap very accurately. Just read through the appropriate guide and make a note of your size in the comments box when ordering.

Know Your Ring Size...

There are a number of ways to check your ring size. The most accurate is to visit one of our shops where we can measure your finger exactly. If you are buying a ring for someone else or want to measure your ring at home just download our easy ring size band and simply measure the finger you are buying the ring for.

You can also find the right ring size by using the table below which shows ring size measurements for the UK and overseas. In this country we use letters of the alphabet to denote ring size, other countries use numbers. If you have an existing ring that fits measure its internal diameter or outside circumference and that will give you the ring size

The Guest and Philips Ring Sizer

Does the style or design of ring affect my ring size?
Rings which have a wide band width will need to be slightly larger than your normal rings so consider this when checking your size.

What if my ring is too big or too small?
If you find that the ring you've bought from us is too big or small, just take it along to one of our shops. We'll either re-size it or exchange it to make sure you have the perfect fit.

Are ring sizes the same across the world?
There are several systems and ring size measurements in use. In the UK our ring sizes are given letters of the alphabet. Australia, New Zealand and Ireland use the same sizing system as the UK. The rest of the world tend to use numbers.

Watchstrap Adjustment and Sizing

We offer an in shop, free, watchstrap sizing service for all the watches that we sell. For on-line customers you need to be sure your watch will fit your wrist out of the box or with minimal adjustment. Some watches have an option on strap size, for most people the regular size is fine. Many can be easily adjusted, especially if they have a metal bracelet. If you have extra small or large wrists then you need to provide us with your wrist measurement. To do this use our watchstrap measurement gauge which is downloadable here. Once you have your wrist size just put it in the special instructions box when completing your order. We will use this information to ensure your watchstrap will fit you.
