Guest & Philips - About Us

Guest and Philips is the new name for the long established local family jewellers Michael Philips and Karen Guest Antiques.

The family of Michael and Anne Guest along with their two children Philip and Karen has taken on this new identity to bring together all three businesses in 23/24 Saturday Market, Beverley, 22 Finkle Street, Cottingham and 80A Middle Street, Driffield.

Mike explained: "The business has developed rapidly over recent years and we wanted to develop a new identity that incorporated all the quality and service Michael Philips is renowned for and to build on the reputation of Karen Guest Antiques that has developed since Philip and Karen joined Anne and myself in the business."

Karen specialises in antiques and is a National Association of Goldsmiths Registered Valuer she is more than happy to source unusual pieces and enjoys working with customers to find them the perfect gift.

The number of marques offered by Guest and Philips is ever increasing with Mont Blanc pens and accessories joining the likes of Omega, Lalique, Gucci, Chimento, Fope, Jasper Conran and Dunhill.

"We want to be able to offer customers a complete service for gift and personal buying and we have some exclusive names like Faberge. We pride ourselves on our first class service in a relaxed atmosphere, making us the complete family jeweller" said Karen.

Anne is proud of the family achievements she said: "Mike and I were thrilled when Philip and Karen joined us in the business and we are pleased to see them developing with new opportunities, they are both keen to move forward with the new Guest and Philips identity and we are happy to support them in every way with their future development of the partnership."
